If you’ve been on TikTok recently, you’ve probably seen everyone going gaga for something called The Pink Sauce.

Videos with the hashtag #ThePinkSauce have already had over 30 million views on the app and it’s the latest viral TikTok food trend.

Everyone is raving about the new condiment, but what actually is it? And what are the ingredients? Read on to find out…

The Pink Sauce is a new condiment created by a private celebrity chef in Miami called Pii who has 56,000 followers on TikTok and 40,000 on Instagram.

It’s a dipping sauce, like mayonnaise or ketchup, that is bright pink in colour and comes in a huge bottle with a bright yellow lid.

People have described it as sweet and similar to ranch but quite thin and watery in texture, and it retails at $20 per bottle.

In the comments of one of her early videos, the chef described it as “sweet, spicy and tangy” and it’s designed to be eaten with just about anything.

Pii has paired it with loads of different things on TikTok, from fried chicken to gyros and even cucumber and one tablespoon serving comes in at 90 calories.

Chef Pii, who describes herself as the Pink Sauce Queen, started posting about her condiment in June 2022 and it quickly took over TikTok.

Her videos went viral and internet users began demanding that she make the sauce available to buy online – so she did!

She began with small launches of the sauce which instantly sold out, but she now seems to have a lot of stock and it’s available to buy for $20 here.

Lots of people on TikTok have got their hands on the infamous sauce to see what all the hype is about and are reviewing the condiment in a video.

One TikTok user said: “It’s giving me ranch with a little bit of butter… and something to make it sweet so like ketchup or something. Would I buy this again? No.”

“This 100% to a tee smells like ranch,” another said before adding that the taste is “kinda like ranch but not as creamy” and “milder”.

However, some aren’t keen on the sauce and think it looks like cough medicine or calamine lotion, whilst others are concerned as the shade of pink seems to change with every bottle.
