The AP series has 45* Taper Cutting Capability, w/ 5 Axes (X, Y, U, V, Z). Capacities of X=23.62”; Y=15.74”; Z=13.78”; U=6.3”; V=6.3” and maximum workpiece weight of 2450lbs allow for precise large part processing. Fagor Linear Glass Scales provide .000004” resolution. The Bi-repeatability is less than 2.5μm after 5 times laser calibration.
The machine structure was designed via Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with high rigidity.
