Chester Police Commissioner Steven Gretsky announced Monday that police have charged Tyrone Irons of the 2200 block of West Second Street with firearms offenses, narcotics violations and an active parole violation for robbery.
Irons was arrested Aug. 6, at which time police recovered a loaded Glock 19 9mm pistol, a secondary magazine loaded with 21 additional rounds of ammunition, an orange pill bottle containing illegal prescription pills and 22 bags of cocaine, investigators said.
Irons was charged with firearms offenses and narcotics violations and was arraigned by District Judge Georgia Stone, with bail was set at 10% of $250,000.
Irons was committed to George W. Hill Correctional Facility to await his formal arrangement scheduled in September.
