On 6/8/22, officers were dispatched to 16 E. Maple St., East Prospect, for a report of a domestic.  Kadin Black was to be in the back yard threatening to burn items that were removed from inside the home.  Once officers arrived on scene, Black was no where to be found.  YCC updated officers that Black posted on social media that he had taken a bottle of pills in an attempt to harm himself.  Officers received permission from the property owner to search the home and Black was not located inside the home.  Officer requested that the victim return to the residence to make a report.

The victims (B/M/53 and W/F/48) returned and reported that Kadin was in the backyard burning photos and personal documents.  Once Kadin was told that 911 was being called, he began yelling at them.  Kadin was screaming profanities so the W/F/48 fled and left the immediate area.  B/M/53 reports the same and went on to state that he received a phone call from a family member about the posting on social media about Kadin taking a bottle of pills.  While at the home, officers viewed that Kadin had broken 4 kitchen chairs, smashed a vacuum cleaner and broke the double pain window in the front living room.  Officers located an empty prescription pill bottle for B/M/53.

Later that night, Officers were called back to the house because Kadin Black had returned to the home.  Kadin admitted to smashing chairs and vacuum, but was unaware that a window had been broken.

Kadin was transported to the hospital and an Arrest Warrant was obtained.

On 6/23/22. Kadin was transported to Central Booking and arraigned.  A preliminary hearing will be scheduled at MDJ 19-3-01 Judge Fishel's Office.

Kadin Black is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
